The Awards Ceremony took place as a conference session of the Global IP Business Exchange, an event held over the period of 16-18 November. Check out the details below !

After the discussion of application of IPv6 to business was provided by presenters, we had the Awards Ceremony for the winners of the Appli Contest. 7 people of all who were awarded the Top Prizes or the Awards of Excellence in each Award Category attended the ceremony. Mr. Higashi from TOA Corporation who attended to receive the Grand Prix on behalf of his company gave a speech noting this prize acts as an encouragement for development.

Winning Entries Announced!
IPv6 Appli Contest 2004 Evaluation Committee recently completed a thorough review of 23 entries to the Implementation category from 9 countries, 32 entries to the Advertising category from 2 countries and 316 entries to the Idea category from 6 countries. This process culminated with the selection of the Grand Prix, the Top prizes and the Awards of Excellence. Click here for details. The Awards Ceremony will be held at Tokyo International Forum on 16 November!
The Awards Ceremony will be held at Tokyo International Forum on November 16, 2004. Click here for the details. The Ceremony will take place as a conference session of the Global IP Business Exchange, an event held over the period of 16-18 November.
This session will call on Promotion Council Chair, Professor Jun Murai and representatives of enterprises leading efforts to establish a next IPv6 network business model, to discuss the development and marketing of core applications for a next generation network society. Current service development and a future market vision will be explored.

In response to numerous requests, we've decided to extend the entry registration
deadline to Sept. 30.

Evaluation Committee Established
An Evaluation Committee has been formally established to handle the process of
judging entries to the three Contest Categories.
The Committee is chaired by the Promotion Council Chair, Professor Jun Murai
and includes an international group of IPv6 leaders among its membership.

Implementation Category - Advance Entry Deadline Extended to Aug. 31
Implementation Category application consists of two parts:
      advance entry registration (DEADLINE EXTENDED to Aug. 31) and,
      submission of a software application (deadline Sept. 30)

      Advance entry requires only a simple outline of the proposed software application.

      For those who intend to submit a software application by the Septmeber 30 deadline,
      please complete advance entry registration.

Implementation Category - Advance Entry Registration Deadline Extended
Implementation Category application consists of two parts:
- advance entry registration, and
